High aspirations – why not?

Music is, for both musicians and audiences, an awesome power, with the ability to create feelings of harmony, within oneself, with others, with the world, and even with the greater cosmos… Music is a way of establishing a position of connection between the outer cosmos and the inner cosmos, or of linking together what Ludwig van Beethoven’s favorite philosopher Immanuel Kant called, “the starry heavens above and the moral universe within”. David Salminen’s concerts aim high… and invite audiences to join in with his adventurous excursions, aspirations, inclinations, investigations, and fun. And there is always a possibility for an etc. or two, as well !

Here’s an example of John Henry Dale’s “chess music”…

…. algorithmic Ableton music compositions – inspired by great chess matches… audible patterns in strategy & intuition… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IWiqiyt9jIs&feature=youtu.be&fbclid=IwAR3d2i-ceTnqJy9lYVTZ8nEBjjMNIrX1CBf_2Sy1tech6_v6jcW0hzkvKaY
